Matthews vs. Lacy

I was visiting my favorite store in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Packerland.  This is the place where all the true Packer fans go to load up on gear for the upcoming season.

As I was making my pre-season purchases, two little boys between eight and ten came running up to the counter where the autographed player photo’s can be found.

Trying to contain my laughter, I unassumingly eavesdropped on their dialogue.

Oh, cool…it’s Eddie Lacy’s! , exclaimed one young fan.

That’s awesome!, replied the other boy dressed in all green and yellow.

Too bad they were looking at Clay Matthews’ picture!

…humor happens

Hi Lee, remember me…the boat captain,of sorts, that took you and your Mom out to the bird rookeries, a few years back. Your Mom is a very good friend of mine for many years. Anyway, I was sending her a birthday greeting on FB and somehow got to your blog page…how in the hell that happened I haven’t a clue, but I just love your short shorts…ah stories that is. I also love “Officer”…what a pair your Mom claims. I still can’t quite picture the road trips and motel check in’s on your ventures to the frozen north.

However I took the time this morning to read all of your shorts (stories) and loved the humor you have obtained in your writings. Something I try to do in my Photo Adventure Stories and the things that have happened to me over the years in my Blog.

So now…I have signed up to read more or your humorous adventures with “Officer” and the cats. Don’t hear much about “Rudder” other than from your Mom when he eats her pant legs when on the phone.

    Keep them coming Kiddo,Love them,
    J. Michael
